Alisa is a pre-licensed clinical mental health clinician at Sacred Heart University who believes in the power of human connection and the potential for growth and change in everyone. She provides a supportive, validating, and compassionate environment where clients feel seen and understood. Alisa leans into a psychodynamic and attachment-based approach and works collaboratively with clients to help them gain deeper insight into their lives. She firmly believes that clients have everything they need within themselves to thrive, and her role is to help uncover that inner strength and resilience.

With a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, Alisa comes to clinical mental health counseling as a second career, bringing a wealth of experience from people-centered professions that have shaped her empathetic and relational approach to therapy. She has a strong interest in neuroscience, trauma, relationships, attachment, family dynamics, and couples counseling.

As a mother, Alisa brings an added layer of empathetic understanding and compassion to her work. She trusts her clients to take the driver’s seat in their own lives, much like she trusts her own child to grow and thrive with the right care and support. Her sense of humor and approachable nature help create a safe and comfortable space for clients to explore their challenges and work toward their goals.

Inspired by her own journey toward authenticity, Alisa is passionate about helping others discover their true selves and create meaningful, fulfilling lives.
