Hunter is a pre-licensed professional pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sacred Heart University. Hunter earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Connecticut State University and began working in the mental health field pursuing a career in therapeutic recreation. This experience motivated him to do more to make a positive difference in others’ lives, spurring his passion and pursuit of a career in counseling.

Hunter possesses a deep sense of empathy and enjoys forming connections with others and getting to know them on a deeper level. He has experience working as a recovery coach in the addiction and recovery community and has a passion for helping those facing similar issues. Hunter comes from a strengths-based perspective and uses CBT and mindfulness techniques to help others make meaningful life changes. As a gay male and someone who experienced grief and loss at a young age, Hunter also has a drive to help others in the LGBTQIA+ community and those coping with their own losses.

Together, we can work towards healing and growth. Through exploration of feelings, learning coping skills, and increasing motivation, Hunter can help those who are looking to gain a deeper sense of self and make improvements in their daily life and functioning so they can have a greater sense of joy and fulfillment.
