Tasha is a thoughtful and supportive Licensed Professional Counselor Associate dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and self-compassion. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. From an early age, Tasha felt drawn to the helping professions and continues to believe deeply in each individual’s natural capacity to heal and grow.

She creates a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported in exploring difficult emotions and life experiences. Tasha’s therapeutic style is strengths-based, warm, and collaborative, encouraging clients to lean into discomfort while recognizing and building upon their innate strengths. She believes healing begins with self-acceptance and is strengthened through mindful awareness and connection.

Tasha works primarily with adults and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, or navigating significant life transitions. As an identity-affirming therapist, she is dedicated to creating an inclusive space that respects and supports each client’s unique identity and lived experience.

In her clinical work, Tasha integrates mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and humanistic approaches to help clients challenge limiting thought patterns, build emotional resilience, and discover practical tools for thriving in daily life. She tailors each session to the unique needs of her clients, balancing structure with empathy and openness.

Outside of the therapy room, Tasha enjoys hiking with her three-legged dog, Levon, and spending time with her wife. She loves going to movies and plays, listening to live music, and appreciating moments of connection and creativity.
