Early or Sustained Recovery from Substance Use,
Paul is a dedicated Pre-Licensed Clinician who is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University. Drawn to the field by the growing recognition of the importance of mental health, Paul is passionate about expanding access to care and providing clients with meaningful tools to enhance their well-being.
Paul creates a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and experiences. He believes that clients are the experts in their own lives and places a strong emphasis on respecting autonomy while supporting growth. By meeting clients where they are, Paul helps individuals build practical skills they can carry beyond the therapy room and into their daily lives.
Paul works with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. He has experience supporting clients facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and self-esteem challenges. Paul also works closely with individuals impacted by grief, trauma, and significant life transitions, providing a supportive space to process emotions and develop healthy coping strategies. In addition, he has experience assisting clients navigating developmental challenges, long-standing emotional stressors, and recovery from substance use. His goal is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves while building practical tools to manage life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
In his clinical work, Paul utilizes Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe core beliefs into healthier, more sustainable patterns of thinking and behavior. He also incorporates solution-focused techniques to empower clients in building coping skills that are both practical and lasting.
Paul believes that everyone has the capacity to grow into the best version of themselves and is committed to supporting clients throughout that journey. He emphasizes personal reflection and discovery as powerful tools for managing stress and creating meaningful change.
Outside of the therapy room, Paul enjoys building computers, playing the saxophone, and exploring his interest in birds.
