Karina Vasquez, LCSW
Karina is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is committed to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward greater well-being. She creates a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, and work toward meaningful change.
Karina believes that seeking support takes courage and that everyone deserves a space where they feel understood, validated, and respected. Her approach is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. She works alongside clients to develop treatment goals that reflect their unique needs, experiences, strengths, and values.
Karina works with young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. She supports clients in developing healthy coping strategies, building confidence, strengthening relationships, and creating a greater sense of stability and empowerment as they move through periods of change.
In her clinical work, Karina draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-informed, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed, trauma-informed, Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused approaches. She tailors her approach to each client, combining practical skill-building with compassion, validation, and meaningful exploration.
Karina believes that positive change is possible even during difficult seasons of life. Her goal is to help clients feel more understood and supported while developing the insight, coping skills, and confidence needed to navigate challenges and create a life that feels meaningful to them.
Outside of the therapy room, Karina enjoys spending time with her family, being a mom, and going to the gym. She values the importance of connection, balance, and making time for the people and experiences that matter most.
