Caitlyn Moody, Pre-Licensed Clinician

Caitlyn is a Pre-Licensed Clinician currently pursuing their Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Fairfield University. Caitlyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Caitlyn has always been passionate about human connection, curiosity, and learning about life and the lived experiences of others, which continues to guide their work as a clinician.

Caitlyn strives to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. She values authentic connection and believes in meeting clients on a human level, fostering a therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen both as individuals and as collaborators in the healing process.

Caitlyn takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach and is open to working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety and depression. As she grows in the field, Caitlyn draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and solution-focused therapy, tailoring their approach to each client’s needs and goals.

Caitlyn believes that healing begins with connection and that being truly understood is essential to feeling safe enough to grow. She is passionate about helping clients build insight, self-compassion, and resilience through meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Outside of the therapy room, Caitlyn enjoys reading, walking in the woods, listening to live music, spending time with family and friends, and watercolor painting. She especially loves conversations about music, books, and movies.
