Briana is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who is passionate about helping clients build self-understanding, resilience, and confidence as they navigate life’s challenges. She earned her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from New York University and her B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University.
Briana believes that healing begins in a space where individuals feel safe, seen, and supported. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered, emphasizing empowerment, personal growth, and emotional awareness. She strives to create a warm and welcoming environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing skills to manage life’s stressors and transitions.
Briana specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, and self-esteem challenges. She integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and somatic and mindfulness-based techniques, to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
Briana believes that every individual has the capacity to understand themselves deeply, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Her goal is to support clients in reconnecting with their strengths and transforming obstacles into opportunities for growth and healing.
Outside of the therapy room, Briana enjoys practicing yoga, exploring new places, spending warm days outdoors, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. Her curiosity, warmth, and mindfulness extend beyond her professional work, enriching her approach to both life and therapy
