Anita DiGloria LMFT-A

Anita is a compassionate, relational Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families better understand themselves and the relationships that shape their lives. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University. Anita was drawn to the field because she is curious about how relationships, family experiences, and environments shape who we are and how we navigate the world.

Anita creates a warm, accepting, and nonjudgmental space where clients can show up authentically and explore the many parts of their experiences. Her approach is relational, person-centered, compassionate, and holistic, recognizing that emotional well-being is influenced by thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, relationships, and the environments we move through. She believes that understanding the whole person can create opportunities for greater insight, connection, and meaningful change.

Anita works with young adults, adults, and older adults, as well as couples and families, who may be navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship or family challenges, stress, mood concerns, substance use, OCD, and chronic health concerns. She works collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, develop new perspectives, and build practical tools that support greater connection, balance, and confidence.

In her clinical work, Anita draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-informed, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed, family systems, person-centered, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based approaches. She tailors her work to each client’s needs and goals, incorporating compassion, curiosity, creativity, and humor to support self-understanding and growth.

Anita believes therapy can be a space to explore the complicated, sensitive, and sometimes contradictory parts of ourselves without judgment. Her goal is to help clients better understand their experiences, recognize patterns, develop practical coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more connected, balanced, and authentic.

Outside of the therapy room, Anita enjoys spending time near the water with her children and grandchildren and her two mischievous miniature poodles, Khloe and Luna. She also treasures time with her social circles, where she enjoys laughter, meaningful conversations, and navigating life’s challenges and celebrations together.
